Mission Statement: To set the captives free! The thief [Satan] comes only to steal, kill and destroy, but I [Jesus] have come that they may have life and have it to the fullest (John 10:10), but if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36)

Vision:To see the body of Christ walking in their true identities as the children of God. Freely experiencing God's power and presence in their lives and able to be who He says we are and to have what He says we can have so that we can live authentic Christian lives.

Goal: To administer the "Steps To Freedom" through qualified discipleship counselors and to empower individuals, through God's word and prayer to identifY and deal with the personal and spiritual conflicts that are keeping them from living a productive life in Christ.

WHAT IS A "FREEDOM APPOINTMENT"
We have been reconciled to God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ when we accepted Him as our Lord. To be reconciled means to be "made right with". Positionally [the immediate .,:_,;~v,( work of God], Christians have been restored to a right standing with God. But sanctificatiottIly [the ongoing work of God] which keeps us right, is a process. A journey which will take our whole life time. Before we were "saved", we were ALL WRONG! Wrong thinking, wrong beliefs, wrong actions, wrong words! But all the wrong thinking and believing that was against God did not automatically disappear when we were saved.

The Bible says we are to be renewed in our minds with the Truth [Rom.12:2]. It is by applying the truth that we are progressively changed into the new person - the one that looks like Christ. It is our responsibility to put on Christ. We do this intentionally. Ifwe truly understand and embrace what is true, then we should also understand and reject what is not true. Some people commit themselves to Christ and choose to believe the Word of God but still hold on to past commitments and beliefs. They just add something on to what they already had-and their reconciliation with God is incomplete.

Every believer must decisively let go of the past, which is the first step of genuine repentance. Many Christians are living a defeated or at best, a mediocre life in Christ because they have not known how to live in their freedom and access the abundant life that Christ died to give them. Do you have problems with depression, anxiety, fear, anger, tormenting thoughts, negative habits, relationships or self-esteem? We at the BTBFICM believe that your conflicts can be resolved in Christ and we want to help you understand how your needs can be met in Him.
There are seven areas that the "Steps to Freedom in Christ" examine. Many people can go through the steps by themselves and experience significant results. Others may need the help of one of our trained discipleship counselors to make progress. Ultimately, these steps will bring to the surface any issues that are critical between a person and God. We always pledge to keep these sessions completely confidential and would be glad to answer your questions if you are interested in obtaining more information.
